I have been very badly hit by proprietary market (past 10 yrs)
Lot my hard work went waste. My productivity was
hugely hindered. My core network applications for
Novell Netware disappeared.

I'm seeing light only now.

I dont want that to happen for the next generation
budding developers atleast. They should be saved. Think
about tommorrow.

Using the word 'killing' is wrong, very sorry. Having
that soft of mindset is bad. But it came out of my
bleeding heart, couldn't contol.

Free(dom) is good
Proprietary is bad

You are correct, but good alternatives will
automagically flush out the evil

GPL is a license. Its has nothing to do with investment.
Even Windows MT can be under GPL. Don't confuse between
them. If you want I can send you a copy of GPL freely.
