Hi
Am having an error displayed on my terminal which says:
hda: read_intr: status=0x59 {Drive Ready SeekComplete DataRequest Error }
hda: read_intr: status=0x49 {UncorrectableError }, LBAsect=36688064, sector
= 316841
end_request: I/O error , dev 03:07 (hda), sector 316841
This error pops up every few minutes or so.
could this be bad sector, and anyone any idea how I can mark this?
The Hard Disk is a brand new 20 GB Seagate ( not barracuda), and it is
Redhat 6.2 on a Pentium II 233 MHz
