I am using RH Linux 6.2. IS it possible to install a package on a particular user-defined partition with a user-defined path. Like I have made an partition - appl which is quite un-unsed. How do I install packages on that partition. Do I use RPM -- prefix <path>?? It says <path> not locatable...... I tried installing MySQL with this and it said MySQL unlocatable. Without the option it works fine. This question is from an Amatuer... u might have guessed from the question itself. Thanx in advance. -- Goldwyn :o) ------------------------------------------------ The mailing list archives are available at http://lists.linux-india.org/cgi-bin/wilma/linux-delhi
