I dont think there's anything like nisdomainname , you have to do a
domainname elnet3l.com
Also make sure your client resolves elnet3l.com , preferably through
/etc/hosts . For permanent config of domainname, declare it in your
/etc/sysconfig/network
Why dont you look at the NIS-HOWTO ?
