use gcc for compiling c code or c  if u have linux 6.2
cd then just ask for mount  (/dev/hdb or /dev/cdrom )
/mnt/cdrom
example 
mount /dev/hdb /mnt/cdrom
if fails 
#mount -t iso9660 /dev/hdb /mnt/cdrom
#cd /mnt/cdrom
#find /mnt/cdrom  -name RPMS -print 2>/dev/null
#cd redhat
# cd RPMS
#find ~ -name "cc*"  -print 2>/dev/null
then it will 
show some cc.2.2.3.17.tzr.gz like thing 
u just say rpm -i then that whole cc.1. . . . etc
if then also u dont get it then 
just use gcc compiler mnamade for c
