well i did it this way
however it is very rudimentry and may not apply to your needs
moreover i am not running linux .
our setup has a MS proxy server which allows to vlock a particular address.
just block the address http.pager.yahoo.com if you are running a proxy
server or a firewall
( this worked on MS and i cannot guarantee that it may wrok on linux as i
never tried it on
linux)
