Dear Mr Prithu,
I had faced a simmilar problem while booting from hda10 on my hdd i got it
solved by using a newer version of lilo it's lilo-21.6.1 which i downloaded
from freshmet.net
After u download and install this lilo do one thing edit your lilo.conf file
and add a line lba32.
Hope this will solve ur problem
