AFAIK most such software is not able to handle OE 5.5 mailboxes - after
conversion do go through the whole mailbox to check that it has been
migrated completely...

I don't know about OE but in Exchange etc. there wasa option to encrypt
your mailbox - it wont work in such mailboxes either I believe.
