small q :
I have to transfer some files from a win95 machine to my laptop running
linux. files are too large to be transferred using a floppy, and I don't
have a zip drive. I also can;t (obviously) pull out the hard disk and plug
it into the laptop.
So is there a way for me to do a Z modem type download by directly
connecting the two machine's modems ? I suppose I culd transfer it over the
net, but I don't have all year.
If its not possible, I gues I would need a direct serial connection. What kind of
cable do I need, and where can I get it ?
