Hi,
1. You may also try traceroute to see how far ur packets are reaching.
2. See route -n
   and what all routes present.
3. then add
   route add default gw x.x.x.x (the gateway address of ur grp)
4. ping gateway u should reach!
5. Then beyond, it should work fine.
