Hi all,
i have a CDROM, which when i installed linux was Secondary master.
Now i got it repaired and accidently plugged it in as Secondary slave. While
windows 98 adn Win 2K detect it perfectly fine, i am having probs with
Linux..
it detects it at boot time but when i try reading it it says input/ouput
error...
Now i have two options
1. Plug out CDROMN and change jumper to Second Slave, i hope it'll work
2. Any other option u suggest ???

please explain the feasibility of the two !!!
