Hello there, it's a while now I'm experiencing some issue with ACPI after a BIOS update some months ago. I tried to wait for some new kernel and BIOS releases to see if the issue solved itself but it didn't. I get a lot of ACPI Errors, lookup errors and table load errors. While I have no scientific data I would say the battery life of the laptop dropped about 2-3 hours after this happened.
Detailed infos about the issue can be found at [1] and [2]. The latter link is a comment from a Red Hat developer and it's claiming it as being a faulty firmware. I would like to hear a second opinion on that and where to report such kind of issue eventually. Thank you. Kind regards.
