I'm trying to get diald to work with a RedHat 5.0 version of Linux. The problem I am getting is this. Using ppp directly with ip masquerading I can connect and everything works fine. When I attempt to use diald I appears that the routing gets messed up. I have the following symptoms. 1) 2 default routes appear in my routing table. One to sl0 the other to ppp0. Eliminating either of them either breaks diald or does not effect anything. 2) It appears that I am do not get any packet forwarding with diald installed. I know I must have missed something stupid in the installation. The question I have is if anyone knows what?
