Interesting. Back before I discovered ethernet I used to use a null-modem
cable and PPP to network a Win95 box to my Linux server. Both machines'
serial ports were 16550s locked at 115200 and I would see the gradual
slow-down in transfer performance just like you guys are seeing with your
ISDN setup.  File transfers would start out flying and gradually slow down
to around 4K/sec. I figured it was something on the Win95 side doing it.
But now I'm not so sure since you guys are having the same problem. Maybe
it's a problem with the Linux serial drivers or something we're not doing
right with setserial?
