After much practice (failed attempts) I have got diald working and it
looks pretty much like a cook-book method.  But rather than call it a
HOWTO I refer to it as a HOW-Done; works for me, YMMV.
   Since I'm still seeing the same questions on both the redhat-ppp-list
and linux-diald lists I thought I'd share this with both and open it up
for comments. 

It is still a work in process.  I'd like to put in links to the correct
HOWTOs and other documentation but most importantly acknowledge the rest
of the people that made it possible for me to get this going. RSN!
