Hi !

Could anybody explain me why my sl0 interface (created by diald at startup)
"forget" to capture any packets ?

I'm using a RH 5.0 box, and i have a GW installed and also a default
gateway device eth0. If i remove these parameters (the GW and Def. GW dev.)
then diald is working as specified in the standard.filter file.
So my question is what parameters do i have to set to open the "eyes" of
the sl0 interface with the default gateway set?

My second fear is that as i don't know the IP address of the sl0 interface
neither the ISP terminal server IP address at the time of dialing (I'm
using dynamic in the diald.conf file) how to tell Linux which packets goes
where after the connection is established? Let me guess, is it specified by
the netmask of the requested IP address? My only problem is that i don't
know how to set these parameters.

(Sorry but I'm a newbie in this routing thing.)

Any help will be appreciated
Regards,
pH
