Your problem sounds like an IP masquerading problem, not a diald
problem. If you are, in fact, masquerading then what probably
happened is you upgraded your kernel but forgot to remake the
modules. If this sounds familiar, try going back to /usr/src/linux
and doing a 'make modules' and a 'make modules_install'
