Greetings, I've had diald up and running and am now trying to change the modem from a USR 33K Sportster Voice to a Motorola 56K VoiceSurfer. Both of these modems are externals. I am just replacing the Sportster with the VoiceSurfer and leaving everything else the same. I am able to talk to the VoiceSurfer using minicom but when diald runs the chat script it does not dial out. The script appears to be failing waiting for "OK" after and "ATZ" although both modems send back and OK to ATZ from minicom. I'm at a loss where to begin tracking this one down.
