OK, implemented kernel 2.2.0, so now I need diald as request-route no longer works. My diald.conf file looks like this: [jlemay@logan jlemay]$ cat /etc/diald.conf mode ppp connect /etc/ppp/ppp device /dev/ttyS1 speed 115200 modem lock crtscts local 192.168.0.1 remote 192.168.0.2 dynamic defaultroute include /usr/lib/diald/standard.filter ...but when the link comes up, I get an IP address, but no packets are being routed out. If I do a "route", I may or may not see the ppp link, but no other routing info and route seems to hang. IE: [root@logan jlemay]# route Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface I am using diald version 0.98.1. I'm now stuck manually bringing up the link! Help! Any assistence would be appreciated. -- John J.
