Several days ago I asked about the instructions (since I'd missed placed
my) for getting TkDesk to work with RHL 5.2. Since I'm not sure if it
ever got through I gota few minutes and looked through my other old
messages. Lo' and behold there was the announcement for 1.1. I went to
the site, found a static linked version of 1.1, got it an the necessary
support tarballs and now have my wonderful desktop back.
It has been trying to have to remember now to launch some of the
thingsI just took for granted and I really missed picking a file with the
browser and double clicking it and having the right (preferred)
application started.
I haven't done much experimenting but I did enjoy the little roll-up
button.
