-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 My computer usually downloads news at 5 o'clock in the morning. At that time the news machine has a low load and the download is very fast (I routinely reach 6 or 7 kbytes/second). When I installed 0.98 I observed the following day that the download rate was no more than 2kbytes. The next day the same. Went back to 0.16.5 and this morning, on the dctrl graph, I saw the usual 6-7 kbytes/sec. Since diald should be passing control to pppd, there should be no difference here, so this doesn't really make sense. Maybe there's something that diald didn't negotiate right? Or my provider just had a couple of bad days?
