More clues, maybe:
I just tried compiling on an Alpha running a 2.0.34 kernel, with nearly
the same results. I suspect I am missing something very simple.
I untared the source into /usr/src.
I did a 'make depend', which generated a lot of warnings, but finishes.
I did a 'make', which generated a lot of warnings, a couple errors, and
stopped.
Are there any other dependencies I am missing?
