Good question ... diald -V or diald --version or diald -v should do it but
doesn't in 0.16.x. This is bug 78 from the BUGS file. I imagine it will
change in 0.98.x if it hasn't already. In the meantime ... use the
source? Or the docs that came with your distribution?
