disonnect timeout question

Diald says this when it closes a connection:

Delaying 30 seconds before clear to dial.

I want to reduce this wait time, so I put 'disconnect-timeout 0' (without
quotes) in my /etc/diald/diald.options but it has no effect.

Is there a way to do this?
