I've been using diald on RH4.2 and have been pretty satisfied with it. I'm now upgrading (or rather installing RH5.0) to RH5 and was looking for opinions on diald vs the latest pppd which seems to offer dial on demand facilities. Does anyone know if it provides filtering capabilities like diald does ? Is it configurable as diald (meaning being able to specify down times, up times etc) ? What if any problems did u have while migrating from 4.2 to 5.0 ?
