I downloaded the file diald-patch-0.16.5.g from the Diald home page and
applied the patch. Now "make depend" runs okay but "make" results in the
following :

cc -O2 -g -Wall -pipe -c diald.c -o diald.o
diald.c: In function `main':
diald.c:81: warning: implicit declaration of function `ticks'
cc -O2 -g -Wall -pipe -c options.c -o options.o
options.c:56: `daemon' redeclared as different kind of symbol
/usr/include/unistd.h:725: previous declaration of `daemon'
make: *** [options.o] Error 1

Should I try the RPM format instead?

Regards

Brian
