I followed Pieter Meiring's suggestion of compiling diald with all the patches and installing the diald-0.16.5-201.i386.rpm on the system without any problems. When I tried to start diald from the control-panel I got the message that modprobe could not find net-pf-17. I thought the highest numbered net-pf was 5, the appletalk module. Can anyone tell me which module I should alias to net-pf-17, or is this a bogus error message? I am using RH5 and kernels 2.0.34 and 2.0.35, both installed from the rpms.
