Hi, I'm trying to configure debian 2.0 distribution version of diald and it brings up a working ppp connection but then times out. I've tried various ways to make the connect script exit, but I am obviously missing something. Here is the debugging output-- ***************************************************************** Aug 15 09:51:00 trout chat[18705]: CONNECT Aug 15 09:51:00 trout chat[18705]: -- got it Aug 15 09:51:00 trout chat[18705]: send (^M) Aug 15 09:51:00 trout chat[18705]: expect (ogin:) Aug 15 09:51:00 trout chat[18705]: 26400/ARQ/V34/LAPM^M Aug 15 09:51:02 trout chat[18705]: [3-S28] login: Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: -- got it Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: send (zeni-gw^M) Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: expect (assword:) Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: zeni-gw^M Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: Password: Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: -- got it Aug 15 09:51:03 trout chat[18705]: send (password^M) Aug 15 09:51:03 trout pppd[18704]: Serial connection established. I'm assuming that this is a very simple problem. Any suggestions?
