I am sure the disconnect option works as it works on my site to bring the
line down.
Most probably you have not made your script "chmod +x"
Hope this is your problem.
Bye...Ian
I would like to setup diald to execute a script just before bringing the
ppp
link down. The purpose of the script is to go out and update a web page to
reflect the fact that my ppp link is down. I looked at ip-down, but that
is
only executed after the link is already down. I noticed that you allow a
"disconnect" line in the diald.conf which I assumed would allow me to bring
the link down with the same script that I used to use from the command
line,
but it didn't seem to be executed. If all else fails, I could put an
exec()
in the source code just before the link is pulled down. If the latter is
the only option, could you point me to the source file and maybe a line
number where I could insert this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
