Setting up Diald

Excuse this simple question from a Linux newcomer:

When I try to configure diald initially, it requests "dynamic"  and
"remote" in one of the scripts. These are not included in the
diald-0.16.tar.gz package that I downloaded and don't seem to be
included in Slackware 2.0.33 distribution.

Any susuggestions / help would be most appreciated.
