Hello All, I realise that this may be the wrong place to be asking - pointers to the correct place will be gratefully received. We currently run IP masquerading and diald to provide a connection to the Internet for a number of Windows PCs via the Linux machine. I have very few problems with this (and the users have none, so they're happy). My problem is that I have been asked to record who (ie, which PC) initiated the connection. I cannot see anywhere how to do this. I think I could do it using a perl script connected to the diald-fifo (and record the first internal IP address after connection) but (a) I'm not sure this would be completely accurate and (b) if someone else has a better way/has done this already, I don't want to re-invent the wheel. Any advice would be appreciated. Peter Hall. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-diald" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
