I'll take a closer look at this, and probably change the name of the second
"binary" rpm package diald-config produced by the diald-0.16.5a-1.src.rpm
(in "diald-0.16-5a-2" ?)

Ideally, I'd like to get Eric to release an official "5a" patch, which is just his
"5" patch with his omitted dctrl patch from patch "4", which would involve
mimimal work by him. (And then see if the diald community could find
a suitable new maintainer for diald, assuming Eric has other concerns now.)

(Actually, it might be prudent to arrange a mirror of Eric's diald site, in case
it disappears one day; I was unable to find any of patches 1 - 4 anywhere on
the net to examine exactly what had happened between 4 and 5)

If anyone could send me these patches 1,2,3,4(e-mail me first if they are large, to
see if someone else already sent them) I would be grateful.
(or tell me where to ftp them from)

I'll look at this.
