i installed diald-0.16.4-1.rpm and after a few probs with the diald.conf not
being where expected (/etc/diald.conf) i managed to get diald to start up,
but even though the proxy is there, i can't get it to dial. i have specified
the "modem"option andentered the phonernumbers, but it doesn't even attempt
to dial.
i appologise if this to simple but since i am a still new to linux, things
like that do happen to me. NB: i am running Redhat 5.1 on kernel 2.0.34
i didn't upgrade to a new kernel yet, since i want to get everything to work
before i do anything else.
