Hi,

I am new in this mailinglist. I have installed diald_0.16.5 in a Debian 2.0
Linux system. All works fine except for a problem with the keepalive option
which I have added to /etc/diald/diald.options file. I have found the
keepalive option decription in the diald man page.
The problem is that diald starts with the message Unknown option
'keepalive'.
I have correctly compiled my kernel-2.0.34 with SLIP and keepalive option.
The dmesg reports

SLIP: version 0.8.4-NET3.019-NEWTTY (dynamic channels, max=256).
CSLIP: code copyright 1989 Regents of the University of California.
SLIP linefill/keepalive option

Can you help me ?

Thanks in advance
