Hello,

I had diald 0.16 setup and working fully, but dialmon 0.7 had some trouble
with it, so I upgraded to diald 0.99. Now dialmon works fine, and diald
doesn't - it connects to the ISP and logs in, but then:

[/var/log/messages]

diald[398]:New addresses: local 203.109.234.252 remote 202.49.249.238
broadcast 0.0.0.0
diald[398]:start ppp0: SIOCSIFMETRIC: Operation not supported
modprobe: can't locate module net-pf-16
diald[398]:start ppp0: cannot open netlink socket: Invalid arguement
diald[398]:start ppp0: cannot open rtnetlink
modprobe: can't locate module net-pf-16
diald[398]:start ppp0: cannot open netlink socket: Invalid arguement
diald[398]:start ppp0: cannot open rtnetlink
modprobe: can't locate module net-pf-16
diald[398]:stop sl0: cannot open netlink socket: Invalid arguement
diald[398]:stop sl0: cannot open rtnetlink

What is the module net-pf-16? It seems like it really needs this :)

I'm using redhat 5.2 upgraded to kernel 2.2.5 with all the updates applied
from the 'tango' project, with IP masquarading enabled.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Daniel
