I'm a Demon Internet subscriber having diald/pppd/chat problems since I upgraded
to SuSE 6.1. Could I have a look at your network config too? I'm particularly
interested in whether/how the ppp0 interface should appear in /etc/hosts, and
how/whether/when any default routes are set up (see my other diald posting which
I'll be posting later today if you're interested).
