Hey Rob,
You want pppd options right? Comment out all lines in your
/etc/ppp/options file. Look at my diald.conf file.
Use the option below in your diald.conf file... replace
<internetaccount> with you internet userid.
" pppd-options name <internetaccount> noauth noipdefault"
edit your /etc/ppp/pap-secrets file and enter the following (with your
info).
<internetaccount> * <password>
Double check your security for the file. The diald man explains what
pppd options to use and what NOT to use with diald... might give you
some more flexibility... My ISP uses PAP and this works fine.
