Hi, I'm running RedHat 6.0 w/ 2.2.10 kernel, diald 0.16.5. When diald starts, I get the following in the /var/log/messages file: kernel: diald uses obsolete (PF_INET,SOCK_PACKET) Also, the new dctrl (with the toolbar) outputs diald[433]: FIFO: monitor connection at info level 0 to x600017f /tmp/dctrl.1606-1 requested diald[433]: FIFO: could not open pipe x600017f /tmp/dctrl.1606-1: No such file or directory The FIFO file exists, though. Dctrl can still send commands to diald, but it can't display any link status. The older dctrl still works. It displays this in the log: diald[433]: FIFO: full monitor connection to monitor /tmp/dctrl.569-1 requested Note that diald is working just fine despite this stuff. Lastly, I also get the messages "modprobe: can't locate module lo:0" with devices lo:0 - lo:49. This doesn't seem to hurt anything either, but I'd rather get rid of all the error and warning messages so I'll notice when something really gets screwed up :-) Thanks, Dave - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-diald" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
