Lost packets?

I'm on an isdn connection(as you all know :) and have gotten diald working with ip masquerading providing access for 2 computers(win98).  My problem is that when I, say, open up a web browser, the connection comes up, but I have to retry the page before it will work.  I am on a dynamic ip and put the demasq option in my diald.conf, but I am still having no success.  I can tolerate this inconvenience on my computer, but try explaining to anyone else!     Thanks in advance Jacob Joseph
