Hey I got one of them thingy's too.  But this one is 192.168.5.0!

> ipchains -A forward -j MASQ -s 192.168.1.0/24 -d 0.0.0.0/0

Would the position of the arguments matter.  I used 

ipchains -A forward -s 192.168.5.0/25 -j MASQ

and left out the -d 0.0.0.0/0
