Dear Group, I am able to connect using diald.. finally, thanks to all in this group. But my routing table is being set up as sl0 (slip interface) I can start using the connection once I issue the command: route add -net 0.0.0.0 ppp0 But I know there must be a simpler way. Here is my routing table (with route -n) Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 192.168.0.11 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 1 0 0 sl0 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 15 eth0 127.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 U 0 0 2 ppp0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 U 1 0 36 sl0 The ppp0 interface entry was added by me.
