Did you remember to change your configuration files to dynamic
addressing? I think the file for pppd is called ppp.options.

        Subject: routing problems

Hey, i gotta big problem with my masquerader & diald...
here's the big problem (simple to you i guess) :
i have a machine with ethernet connection and a modem. It uses diald
to
connect to the internet, and shares the connection with some other
machines
with ipchains (masquerading) i used to have a static IP adress for
the ppp
link ; then no problem ... but now i have a dynamic connection, and
it doesn't
work that well ! when i make a request from the machine that has the
modem, it
connects, then the request is served (example : a ping, it starts
answering)
but when i make a request from a host machine, diald connects, but
the paquets
are lost or something and the request doesn't work ! i have to
cancel it and
redo it once the modem is connected..
please do you have any idea of how to fix that problem ? someone
told me it was
a routing problem but i know nothing about routes : (

        thanx a lot
