I can't remember if I've seen anything mentioned about controlling diald
(using dialdc) from somewhere else. So point me in the direction if it
has been.

We have several sites that would like to control diald, either block or
unblock, from Win9x systems. This is becuase they are sharing the
phone line with a FAX machine or voice phone and the users on the network
keep the line busy.

I'm thinking about making it a samba service and use preexec and postexec
to issue the commands which, if it works, would be a quick and dirty
solution. Are there better solutions around?

TIA,
Rod
