I remember this was discussed before, but can't find a reference.
I have diald-0.99.1 and recently installed Netscape 4.61
It worked fine, until I touch something in mail configuration of Netscape,
after which Netscape start seeking connection each time it is launched.
I tried to 'deconfigure' everything I set, but partially it was not allowed
(I cannot set blank field for my name for example, etc)
partially did not help. What should I do for Netscape to 'forget'
it's mail configuration and to ensure it does not dial out on launch ?
(Deleting .netscape altogether may help, of course :) )
As well, Netscape (4.6 and 4.5) actually hangs X server until connection
is established and you pulled down any menu in a meantime !
