Does anyone know how to get a reliable report of connect speed? What is
passed to my ip-up script is the speed I requested in the diald config
file, not the actual connect speed. All of the other stuff that was passed
(local and remote port, etc) is accurate. Other than this minor issue
everything else is working quite well.
I am running Red Hat 5.2 with Diald 0.16 or so. The modem is a Boca
Reseach 33,600 PNP internal.
(A big thanks to the author of ISAPNP tools- Linux talks to my modem but
Win 98 would not!)
