My problem is that even though there is no traffic, diald will always
redial to continue the time out countdown when the remote end
disconnects the link. I have specified the two-way parameter, but still
this behavior persists. This problem seems to exist with version 0.16.5
and 0.99.1., and I am using the standard filter files that come with
diald. I have even added  code to the fsm to write to the syslog the
fact that two_way exists.

Any clues to the problem would be greatly appreciated.
