Well, I have mine rigged with "yi.org" - sign up whatever one you choose..
pick a name- all that good stuff and then download the client script- very
small..
In my diald config i have:
ip-up /etc/diald/ip-up
and in the ip-up file i have something like:
#!/bin/sh
sleep 15
sh /etc/diald/dns_update.sh &
play something.wav &
fetchpop /usr/soandso &
The &'s are suposed to make the processes run in the background.. and
depending on your machine- to make the diald client recieve that initial
burst of their respect homepages when the modem connects- i make the
processes sleep for a few seconds before getting mail and dyndns stuff--
Yeah- whoever figures out an easy way to call the Linux masq box - and
then for it to go online- please post.. that sounds like a cool idea..
