What you need to do is create a hosts and lmhosts file on each of the
windows (or other machines)
each of these machines needs to containt the Ip address as well as the
first part of that machines name ie my network looks like:
PENGUIN 196.168.1.1
WAGNER 196.168.1.2
WARWICK 196.168.1.3
ANDRAS 196.168.1.4
This seems to work fine for me
