First an apology for the gushing that will go on shortly.

I've been using diald about three years now with great results. Glitches
to occur, but mainly in setup and usually due to my own ignorance. I just
wanted to say a great big THANKS for all of those people who develop,
troubleshoot, maintain, and test diald for all the leeches and lurkers out
there like me. This program in all the forms I've used have been rock
stable with nary a spurious failure in all the time and implementations
I've used. I'd name names but I really don't know many. My procmailrc
just conveniently dumps the list messages in a folder that patiently
accumulates them for my perusal, currently about 2000 worth. Just don't
have time to go thru them all. I have also tried pppd's demand mode, but
came to the conclusion it just wasn't as robust as diald.

A second round of thanks that goes to the people who take the time and
respond to our (well, at least my) silly questions and explain it to the
point of making sense.

As the Engineering Officer of the submarine I used to be stationed on used
to say. BZ or Bravo Zulu, or job well done.
