Hey folks, I've had the slink (deb 2.1) version of diald working quite well for quite some time. Dctrl, although cool sounding wasn't a priority. well, now I think I'd like to have it working. The problem is, even after taking care of permissions, and telling dctrl exactly where the fifo is, it starts up reports nothing. I check all the options and it shows no activity (even though there's lot's). I also send the disconnect signal and diald doesn't respond. It doesn't seem like dctrl has any communication with diald through the fifo. Yeah, I have the path to the fifo in the diald configuration file, and /var/log/messages says that diald is creating the fifo everytime it starts. any ideas? thanks guys, Dave "Linux...
